COACHING AND FUNDING

ECCYWK offers a variety of services to support licensed early care and education professionals in their work with young children. ECCYWK’s Quality Support Coaches work with both individuals providing direct care to children, including those licensed to care for children in their home and licensed child care program administrators. Services provided are customized to the goals of the child care program or provider, but typically include:

  • Assistance with development and implementation of quality improvement plans
  • Assistance in meeting the particular care needs of infants and toddlers
  • Observations using various standardized assessment and assistance in using these tools for self-assessments
  • Assistance in working in partnership with parents to meet children’s needs
  • Support and follow-up for sites receiving a Colorado Shines Rating
  • Consultation around a variety of early childhood topics as requested
  • Quality improvement resources

The ECCYWK receives Colorado Shines Quality Shines Improvement Funding to support quality improvement. 

Eligibility criteria:

All programs receiving funding and coaching support will be required to have a fiscal agreement with the local CCAP office. Please let us know if you would like more information about signing a fiscal agreement.

All Level 2 programs receiving funding and coaching support must commit to submitting for a Level 3-5 Rating within 18 months of their application

Level 3-5 programs may be supported during the maintenance phase but MUST submit for a renewal rating no less than 90 days prior to their rating expiration
